El gobierno bonaerense habilitó fumigar con agrotóxicos sobre escuelas rurales. Crudo testimonio de un agricultor
Daniel Bareilles, agricultor familar de Cañuelas, habló en entrevista por Radio Gráfica —En el programa»Punto de Partida»— sobre la nueva disposición del Gobierno de María Eugenia Vidal que habilita la fumigación indiscriminada con agrotóxicos: “Esta resolución retrasa históricamente, culturalmente, y va a ser muy difícil la situación si no logramos que se derogue”, denunció Bareilles.
La resolución 246 del Ministerio de Agroindustria de la Provincia de Buenos Aires, a cargo del funcionario Leonardo Sarquís, exgerente de la multinacional Monsanto, aprobó la resolución N° 246-MAGP-18 que recién fue publicada el 17 de diciembre de 2018 en el Boletín Oficial N° 28422 de la provincia, la cual habilita las fumigaciones en aquellos espacios denominados «zonas de amortiguamiento».
Estos lugares serían cercanos a escuelas, núcleos urbanos, y deberían excluirse de las fumigaciones.
El agricultor Bareilles afirmó que se realizaron estudios científicos en estos últimos diez años que demuestran el peligro del uso de los agrotóxicos y así lo respaldan «más de cien trabajos de investigación donde se ve la toxicidad que tienen distintos productos que se usan para la producción alimentaria y esa toxicidad persiste en el tiempo en dosis muy altas hasta que llega a la mesa de nosotros los argentinos y se la damos de comer a nuestros hijos».

Dicha resolución se arregló previo una reunión interministerial, donde los funcionarios a cargo de las carteras de Salud, Ciencia y Tecnología, Ambiente y Agroindustria de la Nación, en conferencia de prensa (Adolfo Rubinstein, Lino Barañao, Sergio Bergman y Luis Miguel Etchevehere, respectivamente) plantearon la implementación de las «buenas prácticas agrícolas».
Finalmente, Daniel Bareilles explicó que localmente las organizaciones de la agricultura familiar están trabajando junto a las intendencias para que sel gobierno provincial de marcha atrás con esta resolución.
