La fórmula Fernández-Fernández cerró la campaña frente a una enorme multitud en un acto épico en el monumento a la Bandera de Rosario.
Al tomar la palabra la candidata a vicepresidenta Cristina Fernández de Kirchner remarcó que «Haber elegido este lugar no es casual, porque esto es de todos». «Puede haber a quienes les gusta decir la Patria, otros a los que les gusta decir la Nación y otros que prefieren decir República. Pero digas lo que digas la única bandera de todos es la de la Argentina», convocó Cristina a la unidad. «Si todavía sigo en pie, es por el amor de ustedes», señaló a la multitud.

Por su parte, el precandidato a presidente por el Frente de Todos Alberto Fernández reafirmó que “Vamos a poner de pie a la Argentina como lo hice con Néstor en el 2003”, aseguró quien fuera jefe de Gabinete de Kirchner durante toda su presidencia».
“Estos mismos personajes me dejaron en un laberinto con Néstor y todos ustedes. Nos dejaron con 11 mil millones de dólares de reservas reales y una moneda que se devaluó al 400%. Lo hicimos una vez y lo vamos a hacer de nuevo. No lo voy a hacer yo, lo vamos a hacer todos”, subrayó.
