Alberto Fernández se comprometió con la Mesa de Enlace a no subir las retenciones
El presidente Alberto Fernández encabezó esta tarde en la Casa Rosada una reunión con los integrantes de la Mesa de Enlace de Entidades Agropecuarias. Tras el cónclave, los representantes del Campo informaron que no habrá ni aumento de retenciones y ni intervención del Gobierno al mercado exportador.
El mandatario estuvo acompañado por el ministro de Agricultura, Ganadería y Pesca, Luis Basterra; el canciller Felipe Solá; el secretario de Asuntos Estratégicos, Gustavo Béliz, y la vicejefa de Gabinete, Cecilia Todesca. Por parte de la organización, participaron los presidentes de la Sociedad Rural Argentina, Daniel Pelegrina; de Confederaciones Rurales Argentinas, Jorge Chemes; de Coninagro, Carlos Iannizzotto, y de la Federación Agraria Argentina, Carlos Achetoni.
El presidente de Confederaciones Rurales Argentinas, Jorge Chemes, sostuvo esta tarde que «no va a haber incremento de retenciones» tras la reunión en Casa Rosada.
«Decidimos que va a haber una continuidad y un acercamiento a las reuniones más seguidas porque hay que analizar cómo están funcionando las cadenas. El problema está en el resto de la cadena», enfatizó el titular de CRA.
«Es importante transmitir a nuestros productores que tampoco habrá intervención», sentenció Chemes.
La reunión fue agendada por el Presidente horas después de que las entidades del campo la solicitaran para debatir propuestas sobre cómo estimular la producción y reducir costos que afectan su precio en góndola, y manifestar personalmente su rechazo ante un posible aumento de retenciones o la aplicación de cupos a la exportación de productos primarios.
La reacción del sector se produjo luego de que el Presidente planteara la posibilidad de aplicar ese tipo de medidas para evitar un traslado al consumidor del aumento del precio internacional de productos como la carne, el maíz y el trigo para, así, «garantizarle a los argentinos que tengan la comida que necesitan a precios razonables».
