Elecciones en San Juan, Misiones y Corrientes: Arrasó el peronismo
Se sigue imponiendo la fuerza de los oficialismos provinciales.
El gobernador puntano Sergio Uñac logró su reelección con el 55% de los votos, mientras que el misionero Oscar Herrera Ahuad se impuso con un histórico 73 por ciento.
En ambos casos, dirigentes que se reivindican peronistas derrotaron a los representantes de Cambiemos. Sin embargo, la Casa Rosada pudo festejar la victoria en las legislativas de Corrientes. Así cortó con la racha negativa de diez elecciones adversas en lo que va del año (San Juan, Misiones, Chubut, La Pampa, Río Negro, Neuquén, Entre Ríos, Santa Fe y Córdoba). Aunque cabe aclarar que los comicios correntinos sólo fueron legislativos, y por lo tanto, de menor impacto político.
En San Juan el gobernador Uñac aprovechó al máximo la unidad del peronismo y su contundente victoria lo ayuda a posicionarse como referente en el plano local de cara a un eventual armado opositor. En esa línea se enmarcaron las respuestas a las felicitaciones públicas que recibió del precandidato del kirchnerismo Alberto Fernández, el conductor Marcelo Tinelli, el gobernador salteño Juan Manuel Urtubey, el ex ministro de Economía Roberto Lavagna, el senador Miguel Ángel Pichetto y el precandidato del Frente Renovador Sergio Massa.
Finalmente, fue en Corrientes donde Cambiemos logró su primer triunfo electoral del año. La alianza oficialista Encuentro por Corrientes (ECO) ganó las elecciones legislativas provinciales por un porcentaje superior al 60 % de los votos, con el gobernador Gustavo Valdés.
