CTERA insistió en que el salario docente está por debajo de la línea de pobreza
La secretaria general de la Confederación de Trabajadores de la Educación (CTERA) Sonia Alesso, sostuvo que «el 70% de los maestros es pobre», porque gana apenas 15 mil pesos por mes.
«El 70% de los maestros, hoy, son pobres. La mayoría de los docentes ganan 15 mil pesos por mes, entonces, están bajo la línea de pobreza», que es de casi 26 mil pesos para una familia tipo, según datos oficiales.
En declaraciones radiales, Alesso cuestionó además la decisión del Gobierno nacional de no convocar a paritarias con los maestros.
«Hoy no hay negociación alguna, el Gobierno no ha convocado a los docentes a discutir su paritaria. Se ve entonces que el Poder Ejecutivo piensa que podemos vivir con 15 mil pesos al mes», enfatizó.
A su criterio, el presidente Mauricio Macri «habla muy poco de educación, es muy pobre en cuanto a temas vinculados con la educación. Cuando habla, únicamente lo hace de evaluación, como si no fuera responsable de una gran subejecución del Presupuesto educativo».
En este marco, la titular de CTERA recordó que los docentes de todo el país realizarán un paro de 72 horas esta semana (miércoles, jueves y viernes) con movilización en la Capital Federal.
«Vamos a parar y a marchar a Plaza de Mayo, pero también habrá grandes movilizaciones en todo el país», resaltó la sindicalista.
En este marco, el ministro de Educación, Alejandro Finocchiaro, consideró en los últimos días que esta medida de fuerza se debe a una «cuestión política» de los gremios para «hacer daño» al Gobierno.
El funcionario dijo tener «muchas esperanzas de que el miércoles que viene empiecen las clases en casi todas las escuelas del país».
En tanto, la ministra de Educación porteña, Soledad Acuña, aseguró que un maestro con jornada simple, que recién comienza a trabajar en la capital del país, cobra 22.400 pesos de bolsillo y 42.800 pesos con jornada completa.
